I have been an active volunteer with Capital Pride for the past 6 months, and I am very excited about the opportunity I have been given by them to be Capital Pride's official Parade photographer for "The 2012 Pride in Living Pictures Photowalk" on June 9th, using a 3-D camera! Okay, tonight I finally submitted my last photo from India! But don't worry I have plenty of other exciting photos to post! I've got pictures from Mexico, Skyline Drive, and the Prop 8 protest in Washington D.C., and those are just a few of the things to come! Hope you enjoy!

Hooray! I am going to India in 2 days! I can't wait! I just figured I would let everyone know that due to this trip I will be MIA from DA for about a month. However, I hope to return with tons of awesome new photographs to add to the site. Ironically enough, the photo opportunity that the trip will provide me with is what I am most excited about. I also hope to be able to make a difference in some people's lives though. I will be working with women's issues in India as this trip is a gender course. IT'S SO EXCITING! I also hope to have the opportunity to experiment with some photojournalism. See you all in one month!
